Strength & Weakness

Behind every successful child is a
great mother. Behind every successful
adult is a great mother. Behind every
successful nation is host of great mothers.

meaning of word "MOTHER"

M-O-T-H-E-R
"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.

Story:"Child asked GOD"

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"

"Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."

Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

"Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking it's life."

"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."

God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

"You will simply call her, 'Mother.'"

The Best, Which Touched:

When I came home in the rain,
My Brother Asked: Why U Didn’t take an Umbrella.
SisterAdvised) why didn’t U wait till rain stopped.
Father(Angrily): Warned! only after getting cold, U will realize.
.
.
.

Mother: while drying my Hair, said,
“STUPID RAIN! couldn’t it wait, till my child came home.”
That's (Mother)

True story

This happened about a month or two ago near Lonavala and even
though it sounds like something from an Alfred Hitchcock movie.
it's real!
This guy drives from Mumbai to Pune and decides not to take the new
expressway as he wants to see the scenery.
The inevitable happens and when he reaches the ghats his car breaks
down - he's stranded miles from nowhere.
Having no choice he starts walking on the side of the road, hoping
to get a lift to the nearest human habitation. It's dark and
raining and pretty soon he's wet and shivering. The night rolls on
and no car goes by, the monsoon rains are so strong he can hardly
see a few feet ahead of him. Suddenly he sees a car coming towards
him.
It slows and then stops next to him - without thinking the guy
opens the car's door and jumps in. Seated in the back, he leans
forward to thank the person who had saved him when he realizes
there is nobody behind the steering!!!
Even though there's no one in the front seat and no sound of any
engine, the car starts moving slowly.
The guy looks at the road ahead and sees a curve coming (remember,
this is in the hills and there is a steep, steep drop beyond the
curve).
Scared almost to death he starts to pray, begging the Lord for his
life. He hasn't come out of shock, when just before he hits the
curve, a hand appears
through the window and moves the steering! The car makes the curve
safely and continues on the road to the next bend.
The guy, now paralyzed in terror, watches how the hand appears
every time they are before acurve and moves the steering wheel just
enough to get the car
around each bend. Finally, the guy sees lights ahead. Gathering his
courage he wrenches open the door of the silent, slowly moving car,
scrambles out and runs as hard as he can towards the lights. It's a
small town.
Wet and in shock goes to a roadside dhaba, which is open, and asks
for a drink. They find some hooch and give him a shot. And he starts
telling whoever is in
the dhabba about the horrible experience he's just been through.
A silence envelops everybody when they realize the guy isn't drunk,
and is really frightened - he's crying and shaking. So they give
him more hooch and
talk about what they should do, whether to call the police or find
a priest, or what.
But just then two guys walk into the dhaba. One says to the other
"Look, - that's the guy who got in our car when we were pushing it." -

Life and Living

Is there a difference between simply being alive and living? A man once stated that we make a living by what we gain or get, but we make a life by what we give. The Bible tells us it is more blessed to give than to receive . Inherent in that scripture is the fact that somebody has to receive. Obviously when we are babies or little children, we are receivers. As we grow into adulthood and become stronger and more independent, we have the responsibility to give to those in need. Indeed we are our brother’s keeper in a way.
We all need food, clothing and shelter. These necessities are the elements of living that we are able to obtain by what we earn. We also need love, friendship, family and social networks. We cannot buy love or friendship; they are gained by first giving them to others. By giving wisely where and when we can, we develop these priceless avenues of life. We give of our time, our ears, our hearts, our comfort and our sympathy, as well as our wealth. Love is a natural outgrowth, and when it is first given away, it can flourish and develop. In the end, it is the greatest gift life can offer. That is a real life.
